Announcements from Ms. Sorel for the week of 2/2/26. Announcements are dispatched every Sunday night via the method chosen by parents. They can also be found on the Infinite Campus Message Center.
WECHS Teachers Will: Create online assignments for inclement weather remote instruction that include learning targets and share with students and families Post assignments to Canvas Communicate with students and families via email, phone, Canvas, Zoom or Remind Offer help sessions at 9am and 1pm via Zoom WECHS Student Information: Check-in for daily attendance Contact the teacher or attend office hours if help is needed Complete Canvas assignments Turn in assignments within 5 days of the remote instruction day With parent approval, juniors, and seniors may attend Wilkes Community College classes if the college is in session

Remote Learning Day

Wilkes County Schools will be closed for students tomorrow, Friday, January 30.
WCC will be closed.

This will be a Remote Learning Day and will be the last Remote Day we can use per legislation this year.

As always, staff who have concerns about travel should reach out to their principal.

Employees will utilize the same procedures that were used for today.

Thank you for your understanding as we try to ensure the safety of our students and our staff.
