Ms. Jennifer Sorel
WECHS kicked off the 2023-2024 school year welcoming new students into their Dens and spotlighting our amazing faculty and staff. The wolfpack is eager to start this school year right by engaging, encouraging, and empowering each other to do their best to achieve personal goals. We have an exciting year planned: 9th graders are settling into high school and college classes, 10th-grade students will explore Wilkes County through the Tory Oak Project, 11th-graders will spend the night sleeping with sharks, and 12th and 13th graders will visit Disney in the Spring. There’s never a dull moment when you are running with the pack!
The WECHS mission is to provide an advanced educational experience that equips students for success in college, career, and life. My personal mission is to ensure that all WECHS students receive this experience. Working with faculty, staff, parents, WCC, and community members we will help students find their calling and equip them to be better prepared for whatever life has in store for them.
