WECHS Teachers Will: Create online assignments for inclement weather remote instruction that include learning targets and share with students and families Post assignments to Canvas Communicate with students and families via email, phone, Canvas, Zoom or Remind Offer help sessions at 9am and 1pm via Zoom WECHS Student Information: Check-in for daily attendance Contact the teacher or attend office hours if help is needed Complete Canvas assignments Turn in assignments within 5 days of the remote instruction day With parent approval, juniors, and seniors may attend Wilkes Community College classes if the college is in session

Remote Learning Day

Due to icy conditions in various parts of the county, Wilkes County Schools will operate on a Remote Learning Day today, Tuesday, December 3rd. Please click link to read full expectations.

We welcome 8th grade families to join us and learn more about WECHS! WECHS Applications will be available AFTER the Parent Session and on Oct. 11th at middle schools. Applications are due to middle school counselors on Oct. 21st by 4 PM. Students will know decision before Winter Break. Accepted/Waitlisted students agree to grade and attendance monitoring. Please call the WECHS office at 336-838-6247 with any questions.
