Good evening, WECHS community. This is Ms. Sorel with a few announcements for the upcoming week.
Spirit Week: April 13th-17th is Spirit Week! Monday: Movie Star Monday (dress as your favorite actor/celebrity)/Tuesday: Bring Out Your Star Wigs and Tutus (Hannah Montana)/Wednesday: Connect the Constellations (dress as a duo or group)/Thursday: Sleep under the Stars (PJ Day)/Friday: Tonight we Steal the Moon (everyone dresses up as Minions).
WECHS PTO: The next PTO meeting will be on April 13th at 7 pm in the WECHS cafeteria. Please join us if you are able.
Wilmington Parent Meeting: A required parent meeting for all 10th graders attending the Wilmington Trip will take place on Tuesday, April 14th, at 6 pm in The Pit.
Progress Reports-High school progress reports for the 4th quarter will be given to students on Wednesday, April 15th. College classes do not send home progress reports. Parents can have students log in to Moodle to view current college grades, or contact Ms. Sorel for grade updates.
Prom: The WECHS Prom will be held on Saturday, April 8th, at the Stone Center. Students may enter the prom between 6:45 and 7:30 pm. The dance will end at 10 pm. Any student needing to leave prior to the 9:30 pm early leave time should have a parent contact Ms. Sorel. Dance entry and exit times follow security protocols for events.
Merlefest: Merlefest takes place on the WCC campus April 23-24. WECHS will continue to operate, holding high school classes during the festival. Parents and students will receive more information about driving on campus and our schedule for those days later in the week through Remind and School Messenger.
Discount Cards: This is the last week of our school-wide discount card fundraiser. Cards are only $10. This fundraiser is very important in that it provides additional funding to cover all of our college field trip tours. If you have any questions, please contact the WECHS office.
