Future Farmers of America
Wilkes Early College FFA was chartered on February 14, 2019, for anyone interested in agriculture and/or leadership. The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America and are a part of who we are; however, Wilkes Early College FFA welcomes members who aspire to be teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners, technicians, entrepreneurs, and more. We are committed to developing the whole student through premier leadership, personal growth, and career success!
Requirements to Join:
- Pay $20 annual dues, which include local membership in the Wilkes Early College FFA Chapter, State Membership (NCFFA), and National FFA membership
- Attend scheduled meetings

- Get your hands dirty while earning an honors-level credit in Horticulture 1 Honors
- Complete a Career & Technical Education requirement
- Participate in student-led activities related to food, fuel, clothing, and leadership
- Compete in a wide variety of Leadership Development Events & Career Development Events
- Have opportunities to volunteer with local service organizations
- Receive a Graduation Cord (active members, current and former officers)
