Beta Club Induction Ceremony: Students, please remember that the Beta Club Induction Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, April 16th at 6 pm in The Pit. If you have any questions about the ceremony please contact Mrs. Price.

 

Graduation Projects: Graduation Projects will be presented by all graduates this week. We wish all of our students the best of luck on their presentations.

 

Whimsical Wednesday: Students are encouraged to wear a Hawaiian Shirt for the upcoming Whimsical Wednesday. Students who participate can earn points for their Den.

 

Progress Reports: Progress reports will be given out to WECHS students on Wednesday, April 17th. Parents, if you have questions or concerns about your student’s grade please contact their teacher.

 

2024-2025 Bus Forms: Students received the 2024-2025 Bus Forms last week. Every student must complete a Bus Form, even if they will not ride the bus. All forms are due Thursday, April 18th to Den Leaders. The first Den to have a 100% return rate will get the choice of having donuts, coffee, or pizza courtesy of Ms. Sorel.

Safety: WECHS will conduct a Secure and Lockdown Drill on Thursday, April 18th at 9:35 am. A Secure Action is called when there is a threat or hazard outside of the building. This means students and staff remain in the building and entrances and exits will be monitored by staff. A Lockdown Action is called when there is a threat or hazard inside the school building. This means students and staff will remain in classrooms, lock all doors, and stay out of sight. We will also use Remind to alert students and staff moving between buildings as part of our drill. If you receive WECHS Reminds you will also get this notification. Again, this is just a drill.

 

Reminder: Only 4 weeks of WCC classes and 5 weeks of WECHS high school classes are left in the school year. Parents, please check in with your students during this time to help them stay current with all schoolwork.
