Happy Mother’s Day: I want to take a moment and send out a special message to all mothers, in whatever version of motherhood you are in. Writer Donna Ball once stated, “Motherhood is a choice you make everyday, to put someone else’s happiness and well-being ahead of your own, to teach the hard lessons, to do the right thing even when you’re not sure what the right thing is ... and to forgive yourself, over and over again, for doing everything wrong.” As mothers, we really never know if what we do for our families is the right thing until we come to the end of our lives and see the past behind us. All we can do is the best we can every day. Sometimes that means making mistakes. Never hold yourself hostage to those feelings of doubt. Keep your love pure and your talk honest. Children appreciate that more than anything else.

 

WECHS Final Exams: WECHS will hold final exams Tuesday, May 14th through Friday, May 17th. These are regular school days. Students received exam forms like they were given for Fall exams, to write down their exam dates and times. Parents can also sign off if their student can leave once an exam is completed. Graduate Awards: Our Graduate Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 13th at 9:30 am in the Walker Center. Parents, family members, and friends of graduates are invited to attend the ceremony. Doors at the Walker Center open at 9 am. No tickets are required.

 

Graduation: The WECHS Graduation Ceremony will be held Tuesday, May 21st at 6 pm in the Walker Center. Doors open at 5 pm. No tickets are required. Waugh 2 Waugh Photography will be at the ceremony to photograph students receiving their diploma.
