Upcoming Drill: WECHS will conduct a  Secure Drill on Wednesday, February 28th at 10 am. A Secure Action is called when there is a threat or hazard outside of the building. This means students and staff remain in the building and entrances and exits will be monitored by staff. We will use Remind to alert students and staff moving between buildings as part of our drill on this date. If you receive WECHS Reminds you will also get this notification. Again, this is just a drill.

Whimsical Wednesday: For the upcoming Whimsical Wednesday, students are encouraged to wear some type of hat. Students who participate can earn points for their Den.

WECHS Graduation Fees: Friday, March 1st is the last day to pay for WECHS Graduation Fees. If you are graduating this year you cannot walk in the ceremony if this fee is not paid by Friday. Please contact Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Martin, Ms. Leah, or Ms. Sorel if you need assistance with this fee.

WECHS Required Team Building: WECHS will be holding a required whole school team building exercise on Monday, March 11th from 8:15-9:45 am. Part of the WECHS program is maintaining our culture of building meaningful relationships and all students need to be present. I am providing this information in advance through School Messenger, School Announcements, Facebook, and the School Remind every week leading up to the exercise so students have plenty of time to clear their schedules and be present.

10th Grade Wilmington Trip: The final $50 payment for the 10th grade Wilmington trip is due Friday, March 22nd. All remaining payments are also due on this date. If you have questions about your balance, please email Mrs. Roark ([email protected]).
