Drive In Registration at Each Wilkes County High School (excluding WECHS) on Tuesday, August 25 @ 6 pm. Do not get out of
car as you drop off Registration Form and Pickup Text and North Carolina Handbook.

 

Please complete a Registration Sheet found online here or  at the Wilkes County Schools Website
www.wilkescountyschools.org. Go to Department tab, Drivers Education, Register for Drivers Education

 

Please make sure you leave a good email address for a Zoom Invitation and a couple of good phone
numbers on the registration sheet.

 

State law requires that students be 14 ½ years or older to take driver education.

The course is 30 hours long. Students may miss only one class session for any reason, but responsible for
any missed work and notes. Attendance taken every Zoom meeting.

 

On a date TBA, you must come to the High School for an Eye Check and bring signed Restricted Permit

On a date TBA in Zoom Driver Education class, you will bring your Paperwork and Driver Education Text
and pay $65 cash or Check written out your High School.
