Good evening WECHS Families,

I wanted to take a moment to share with your family an invitation to our freshmen orientation night. This year freshmen orientation will take place on August 7th. All freshmen and one parent/guardian are required to attend this event. Today we mailed your student’s schedule, the WECHS calendar, and the WCC application. We will host the orientation at the times listed below in our gym. Please be aware YOU MUST sign up for a time slot so we don’t go over the allotted number of attendees we can have in the building. If none of the time slots fit your needs, this information will be recorded on a Zoom meeting and located on our school website. We will not allow more than one parent/guardian to attend with their student. All participants must wear a face mask to the orientation and temperatures will be checked. If your student plans to do remote learning only we will host a remote learning orientation On August 10th at 3:30, This brief orientation is ONLY for students choosing the remote learning option. Only the student and one parent/guardian (if necessary) should attend. We will pass out laptops and college textbooks to remote only students that afternoon. Your newsletter mailed today will give more information on locations in the building.
