We will be holding Individual personalized graduation ceremonies for our 2020 graduates. We will hold these ceremonies on the following dates and times.
Friday, July 24 between 9am and 6pm
Monday, July 27 between 9am and 6pm
Each graduate will select an appointment time that works for them and their family via the Calendly link below. Graduates may bring up to 8 guests. This information will be sent to graduating seniors and the link will be posted on our social media sites and our school website. Only one person (graduate, parent, guardian) should complete the Calendly link to secure your appointment time.
As you complete this registration, you will notice a couple things. Appointments are available every 10 minutes on the dates above. Once you choose your appointment time, you will need to make note of the time and add it to your calendar! It is imperative that you are on time for your appointment so that we can make sure all students have the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments.
Directions to follow during your Personalized Graduation Ceremony:
Enter through the WECHS lobby. After temperature checks, guests will be directed to the Bumgartner gym. Graduates will enter the gym and take their place near the stage. Guests will enter the gym and take their place in the designated area in front of the stage. Everyone will remain standing for this process. The graduate’s name will be called and he/she will walk across the stage, receive his/her diploma, and exit on the other side. A video will be taken of each graduate as they cross the stage. We will produce (at a later date) an entire ceremony to be shared via social media. After a quick photo op, students and guests will exit the back door of the gym and follow the sidewalks back to
the parking lot.
**Masks will be worn by school personnel and all guests in attendance**
Graduation fees must be paid prior to walking. Fees may be paid in the WECHS office by July 23rd.
All of these efforts are to focus the graduation experience on each individual family and provide a safe experience for all individuals involved. As part of our efforts, we will follow all local and state guidelines.
We know that this is not what we had all hoped for in the beginning, but we feel that with the current circumstances, this is what is best and safest for our graduates and their families. Please do not hesitate to ask questions if you have them.
If you having question please call the office at 336-838-6247 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to celebrating with you!
